SUBMISSION PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES

  • All submissions must follow the guidelines outlined in the Paper Formatting guidelines.
  • Your submission should be identified clearly as a Full Research Paper or an Extended Abstract.
  • If your submission is accepted, at least one author must register, pay and attend the Conference to present the paper.
  • All paper submissions must also include a Transfer of Copyright Agreement. This form must be read and consented to as part of your submission.
  • All submissions will go through a blind peer review process managed by the Chair of the Scientific Committee, in conjunction with the Scientific Committee's Editorial Board and other members of the Scientific Committee. All submissions will be provided with reviewers’ feedback and suggestions to further improve the quality of the research.
  • Selected full papers will be invited for submission to a Special Issue of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management (JHTM).
  • During the submission process, you will be able to select your preferred presentation type (see the three presentation options HERE). If you are making multiple submissions, we encourage you to submit each as a different presentation type to allow space for other presenters to participate. The final decision on presentation type will, however, be made by the CAUTHE 2027 Program Committee dependent on program schedule and physical venue space.

FULL RESEARCH PAPERS

Full research papers are eligible for nomination by reviewers for the ‘CAUTHE Award for Best Full Paper’.

Full research papers submitted by a PhD student on work derived from their study are eligible for nomination by the reviewers for the ‘Bill Faulkner Memorial Award for Best PhD Paper’. To qualify in this category, the primary author must be a student and the author’s registered supervisor must be listed as the co-author.

More information about Awards can be found HERE
